TOPIC: HE'S NOT AMONG THE DEAD, HE LIVES
Key Text: Luke 24:5-6 – “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!”
EXPOSITION:
In the early hour of the first day of the week, the Women went to the Tomb in search for Jesus expecting to find his dead body. They brought spices for burial, not praise for a risen Lord. They had forgotten his promise of resurrection. Today we took are searching the Wrong Places looking for life in dead things: such as sin, religion without power, worldly success. Searching for joy, hope, and purpose in empty places. He is not among the dead, He's risen. Don’t seek the living Savior in lifeless traditions, broken systems, or past failures.
THE ANGELIC PROCLAMATION
“He Is Not Here” Jesus defeated death and left the tomb behind. His absence from the tomb is proof of His victory.
“He Has Risen” Not a metaphor—He literally rose. This is the cornerstone of the Christian faith (1 Cor. 15:14–17). The empty tomb is not a symbol of defeat but the loudest sermon ever preached—He’s alive!
THE POWER OF THE RISEN CHRIST
Resurrection Means Transformation. We have new life in Him (Romans 6:4). Sin has no hold, death has no sting.
He Lives in Us. Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). Because He lives, we live differently. Live like He’s alive — not in fear or shame, but in boldness and victory.
OUR MISSION AS WITNESSES
The First Witnesses Were Ordinary --Women, doubting disciples—yet chosen. You Are Now His Witness. Don’t just admire the empty tomb—go and tell (Matthew 28:7). Be a living proof that He lives.
Make This Declaration Loud And Clear:
“He is not among the dead—He lives in me!”
PRAYER POINTS: LORD, Let the truth that you resurrect renews our hope, purpose, and passion for God in Jesus name.
