Topic: GOD NEVER COMES TOO LATE – Part 2
MEMORIZE: "And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not." Luke 7:13.
SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 7:11-15
“11. And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people. 12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. 13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. 14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. 15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.”
EXPOSITION:
The medical practitioners admit that they only care, but God cures. Whenever someone dies, medically, it is over. The dead is good for nothing than to be buried. A widow from Nain lost her only son to untimely death. She has lost all her hope and the mourners have started mourning for her, sympathizing her irreparable lost. But on their way to cemetery, Jesus met them. But they didn’t know him, unlike Bartimeaus the blind, who heard him passing and cried for his mercy. Notwithstanding, Jesus had compassion on her, stepped into her case and restored the dead boy back to life and handed him alive to his mother. While others thought it was over, Jesus stepped in. He never comes too late into any situation.
What are you passing through now that you think God is too late to come? It is written concerning you… “Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. 16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. 17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness. 18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise. 19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. 20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.” Isaiah 60:15-20. Keep trust God and hope in Him. At His right time, He will turn your situation around for good. It is ypur turn to shine bright with your testimonies in Jesus name.
