*TOPIC: THE COMFORT OF GOD’S PRESENCE - Part 1.*
*MEMORIZE: "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." Psalm 23:4*
*SCRIPTURE READING: Deuteronomy 31:6.*
*"Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."*
*EXPOSITION:*
Life is filled with seasons of joy and seasons of difficulty. In our darkest moments, one truth remains constant: God is with us. His presence brings comfort, peace, and strength. Today, we will explore the comfort of God’s presence and how it sustains us in every situation.
*1. GOD’S PRESENCE IN OUR VALLEYS*
*a. God is with us in the darkest moments.* David acknowledges that even in the "darkest valley," God’s presence brings assurance. *“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18).*
*b. God does not abandon us.*
He promises never to leave or forsake us, even when we feel alone. *“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified... for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6).*
When you face trials, remind yourself that you are never alone. Speak God’s promises over your life.
*2. GOD’S PRESENCE BRINGS PEACE*
His presence calms our fears. Fear often arises in uncertainty, but God’s presence reassures us. *“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God” (Isaiah 41:10).*
His peace surpasses understanding. In the midst of chaos, God’s peace guards our hearts and minds. *“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).*
In moments of anxiety, pause and pray. Invite God’s presence into your situation and let His peace fill your heart.
The comfort of God’s presence is a gift that sustains us through every season of life. Whether we are walking through valleys, facing fears, or feeling weak, His presence brings peace, strength, and hope.
No matter what you face, remember that God is with you. His presence is your comfort and strength. Lean into Him, and you will find rest for your soul.
*PRAYER POINTS:* i. Lord, thank You for the gift of Your presence In Jesus’ name.
ii. In our darkest moments, You are our comfort and peace In Jesus’ name.
iii. Help us to trust in You, to seek You daily, and to rest in the assurance that You are always with us. In Jesus’ name.
