I WILL TRUST GOD IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES

MONDAY, 4TH JULY, 2022.

Topic: I WILL TRUST GOD IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES

MEMORIZE: "Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation." Habakkuk 3:18.

SCRIPTURE READING: Habakkuk 3:17-19.

Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls- Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills”.

EXPOSITION:

In Our present generation, people have defined the condition by which they will praise and serve God… It is when things are going on smoothly as planned. But the moment they are faced with hard time, they begin to see God as wicked and unfaithful. He that created the day is the creator of the night. He that formed the good is the same Who created the bad (evil). He does not tempt us with evil, but nothing can happen without His approval. As a child of God, it must not be only when things are favourable to you that you will serve and praise God, even when facing difficulties, God never change and we must never stop praising and serving Him.

Prophet Habakkuk wrote, “Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls- Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Habakkuk 3:17-18. Every one desired fruitful vine, life and labour, but the prophet said, life and things around may appear not fruitful as desired, “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Habakkuk 3:17. Why will he still trust God in this situation? Because only God can help us in the days of trouble, He becomes our strength to sustain us till that evil time be over. We must see God the same way. “The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills.”.

PRAYER POINT:

Lord, I confess you are my strength, make my feet like deer’s feet in the day of trouble to sustain me and make me walk on my high hills in Jesus name.
