EXPOSITION

Home is the coming together of a mature man and woman by marriage to form a new family. When God created the first man (Adam), he was created a perfect man, very responsible to keep his home and his environment under the control of God. He usually has daily communion with God. God could trust him to the point of committing the whole creatures unto his care.

The primary assignment of man is to have cordial relationship with God. It is written, “Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” Since the duty of the heavenly beings is to praise God and serve Him eternally, God expect us to do the same here on earth.

Concerning Abraham, God said, “For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.” Genesis 18:19.

Unto Solomon, David said, “That the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.” 1 Kings 2:4. This year and beyond, to remain relevant before God, we must renew our relationship with God and keep our communion with Him alive and unbroken.

Prayer Point:

1. Lord, help me to renew my relationship with you now and always in Jesus name.
