HE GAVE ME BACK MY LIFE.

Topic: HE GAVE ME BACK MY LIFE.

MEMORIZE: “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: He that believeth in me, though He were dead, yet shall He live." John 11:25

SCRIPTURE READING: Mark 5:39-42.

“And when He was come in, He saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. But when He had put them all out, He taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying. And He took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.”

EXPOSITION: 

There are ocassions when we find ourselves in a situation that involves loss of life. It may look real as if life has gone out of us, but in a moment, one will realize he's saved.

I experienced it last week Monday, when I had accident as my back tyre burst. At the time I couldn't control it any more, I thought I was finished, seeing I was heading towards a deep pit. I was helpless and hope seemed lost, until God used a small signpost to stop me. When I highlighted from the car, I fell flat on the floor by the road side praising God. The eyewitnesses were surprised for the wonder of safety and began to congratulate me. There was this word came to me that "HE GAVE ME BACK MY LIFE".

When chief Jairus also was in a dilemma of losing his precious daughter, he sought Jesus to come to his rescue. But when they were coming, a messanger came to tell him the bad news he would not want to hear - that his daughter had died. In the face of his hopelessness, Jesus assured him of her resurrection. At the intervention of Christ, he got her daughter back alive.

At the graveside of Lazarus, the man who had died for four days ago, Jesus Christ declared to Martha and Mary, that He is the resurrection and the Life. This means,he is the author and owner of resurrection and life. He will give it to anyone who believes in him. David, in Psalm 23 says, He restores my soul. That was after he had seen many troubles, God gave him victory over all his enemies and restored his soul with peace

What are you passing through? In your marriage, workplace, from friends or neighbors, business associate? Have you thought it is over for you? Do you think you are finished? Have men written you off? Don't believe it. Remember,, only God has the final say, even over your matter. That situation that spells death and loss in your life is reversed now in Jesus name. Those who are waiting to mock you are disappointed henceforth. All because you have God on your side.

As he restored my life, Jairus' daughter, the only son of widow of Nain & Lazarus, he will restore your life too. Because he is the resurrection and the life, he is able to make you laugh for joy again. Your testimony will soon be, HE GAVE ME BACK MY LIFE (my Joy, Honour, Relevance, Success, etc). Mention your own by faith, because he will do it for you. He never fail on anything he decides to do. Hallelujah!!!

PRAYER POINT: Lord, restore my life back to me from death and frustration in Jesus name.
