Topic:  AN APPROVED MINISTER OF GOD – Part 3

 

MEMORIZE: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15.

 

SCRIPTURE READING:  1 Samuel 3:19-21

“And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. 20 And all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.  21 And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.”

 

EXPOSITION:

This is the concluding part of this series. An approved minister of God should POSSESS STRONG LEADERSHIP SKILLS. They are required to provide guidance, support, and pastoral care to individuals and families facing various challenges and life events. They should be able to empathize with others, provide solace, and offer practical advice to help individuals navigate through difficult times.

 

Lastly, an approved minister of God should CREATE A SENSE OF COMMUNITY AND FOSTER A WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT WITHIN HIS CONGREGATION. They should encourage inclusivity, respect diversity, and ensure that every member feels valued and accepted. By nurturing a loving and supportive community, they create an atmosphere conducive to spiritual growth and transformation.

 

In conclusion, AN APPROVED MINISTER OF GOD PLAYS A PIVOTAL ROLE WITHIN A COMMUNITY. They are individuals who have been recognized and ordained, possessing a deep faith, knowledge of the Scriptures, character virtues, leadership skills, and the ability to foster a sense of community. As we continue our discernment and preparation for various ministries, let us remember the essence of being an approved minister of God: to serve, guide, and uplift others on their spiritual journey and to be living witnesses of God's love and grace.

 

 

PRAYER POINT:  Lord, by your grace, help your ministers to be faithful and be approved unto you in Jesus name.
